DIN Standard Lip Seals
DIN standard seals may have common nominal dimensions of bore, OD and width but in most cases the similarities end there. They will possibly look the same but their performance capabilities can vary greatly. So often or not low cost means low operating capabilities and questionable quality.
Advanced Sealing Solutions therefore only specifies seals produced from the highest-grade elastomers and tooling, when moulded under vacuum conditions, regardless of size. Precision lip geometry ensures optimum interference and hydrodynamic film generation.
Bore sizes varying from 5.00 mm to 670.00 mm are readily available typically in NBR, HNBR, SIL and FKM. They also include a wide variety of different derivatives from those including integral dust lips to high-pressure versions to suit your precise needs.

High Performance V-ring Seals

Using the highest quality elastomers particularly Viton (from DuPont) to resist extreme chemical attack Precision vacuum moulding and accurate temperature control produces homogeneous wear resistant structure critical in large diameter seals High quality moulding and in-house production of high-grade steel moulds ensure lowest possible cost and highest performance plus ready availability Advantages equally applicable to customised designs For the most demanding applications PTFE can be added to the lip elastomer to improve wear resistance Where a more consistent lip pressure and lip geometry is required the type GM-VA or similar is available In recent tests by a major paper machine builder such v-ring seals gave twice the life of alternative sources Vacuum moulding v-rings will also totally out perform cheap extruded and joined alternatives giving several times the life. Maintenance costs are thus reduced and more importantly high cost bearings are better protected.
