Performance of this well proven seal concept can vary widely depending upon the design enhancements provided
by the seal manufacturers. Used in heavy industry both continuous and split versions are available and we can
supply both existing sizes or we welcome enquiries for sizes unique to your company. For optimum performance the following parameters are important:

 

	Precision moulded OD to prevent leakage via OD.
	Correctly specified Clamp Plate & bolting arrangement.
	Moulded split joint not cut to give more effective rubber seal.
	Added PTFE in lip to give improved wear characteristics.
	Flexible lip design to accommodate high misalignment.
	Stainless steel garter spring to prevent corrosion.
	Optimum lip geometry for speeds up to 20 m/sec.
	Use of correct elastomer for optimum performance.
